It has been said that truly great fisherman aren’t born that way but become so through the neglect of other things in their lives. There is a certain truth to that and at The Fishing Life most of us have neglected much of our professional and personal lives in the obsessive pursuit of big fish all over this beautiful country called Canada. Time on the water is time spent away from home, work, and family as success in fishing, as well as any other life endeavor, requires hard work, discipline, sacrifice, and dedication – that is the real price of greatness.
At The Fishing Life we are a dedicated and passionate bunch of fishheads and the one thing we really know in this crazy world is fishing and how to have people experience the fishing trip of a lifetime. Great fisherman and guides are a dedicated and unusual breed (part biologist, psychologist, general laborer, naturalist, teacher, photographer, mechanic, poet, fisherman, philosopher, scientist, doctor, and sometimes best friend for life) and whether paid or not they are always drawn to water and fish as it is what they do best, either alone or acting as a mentor to others. It’s not simply a job for these individuals but a calling and professional vocation. They love their work and are excellent at sharing their wealth of knowledge to clients and creating a unique and memorable experience.
These are the type of great people we work with and are pleased to introduce our guiding services to tourists and fisherman travelling through the Montreal area looking for a unique half or full day experience on our local waters shore or boat fishing for trout, largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, longnose gar, musky, in the St-Lawrence or Ottawa River systems. We do small water and we do big water, rivers or lakes, whatever it takes to get into fish. Our guides can even be hired out for longer stretches , on customized trips mostly fishing wilderness lakes in Northern Québec and Ontario or exploring Canada’s incredible parks systems, or perhaps the tributaries of the Great Lakes for steelhead and salmon. They have fished all over the country and are multi-species experts, with both conventional and fly equipment. A few have broken I.G.F.A. line -class records and provincial records. They are among the best at what they do because that is all they do and we are pleased to offer their services.
Come fish with us and be part of The Fishing Life in Canada!
Reservations for the 2012 season (beginning May 15- December 21) are now being booked. For more information please contact us at email@example.com
We are also in the process of developing a trip consultant service partnering with and representing several other independant and unaffiliated guiding services located in various parts of the world where there are other great sportfishing opportunities to be experienced. Just tell us what your fishing dream trip consists of, when and where you’d like to go and what you want to catch and we will point you in the right direction and hook you up with the right service that meets your needs, expectations, and budget. Whether it’s for the mighty Dorado in South America, Arctic char in Nunavik, Nile perch in Egypt, Tigerfish in Africa, sailfish on a fly in Costa Rica, or to chase a world record musky in the waters surrounding Montreal everything is possible if you can dream it.
(We are not travel agents, simply a free referral service to the consumer that can vouch for the excellence of the guides services and act as direct go-between for both the guides and the clients. Our revenues are commission based and we are renumerated through our guiding service partners.)
For information on services, destinations, rates, availabilities, or even just to drop us a line and to talk about the fishing opportunities in your part of the world, please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you as soon as we get our lines out of the water.
